The Eating Place – Pay What You Can Café
Our café runs on a ‘pay what you can basis’ with everyone welcome to enjoy a hot meal at lunchtime and is open from 11am – 2pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Join us for hot drinks from 11 and hot meals from 12. If money is tight pay a little, if your pockets are empty enjoy your meal on us, if you have a bit to share pay for someone else.
Come along and join us.
Foodbank – We currently run foodbank sessions as part of Coventry foodbank, we are open on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11.30 – 1.30pm.
Community Garden – In the coming months we are looking to develop a community garden on a piece of land adjacent to our buildng on Deedmore Road. It is hoped that the project will have two main benefits:
1 – it will be a place where people can work together to learn new skills, meet new people, get outside and improve their wellbeing.
2 – any produce grown can be used in the cafe for the wider benefit of all.
Shop – We run a highly successful charity shop where we deliberately keep the prices low to support the local community and our projects too. Open Tuesdays and Fridays 11am – 2pm. Pop in for a bargain.
Donations of clothing and bric-a-brac are welcomed.
