Holiday at Home

CCM is in regular contact with approximately 60 local elderly people.  We currently have about 15 regular attenders to our Monday Lunch Club but have the capacity for more.  Each year we run our very popular Holiday at Home programme.  This is comprised of six to eight excursions over the year.

Last year we  visited Matlock and Peak railway, Hampton Court Castle, Northleach in the Cotswolds, Stratford, and Upton upon Severn. Our local run event took place at Alexander House where an afternoon of fairground games and a Punch and Judy show proved popular.  Other local trips included a visit to the Herbert Art Gallery and a Christmas meal.

Carole Cuttler, Eldercare Co-ordinator, visits several local residential homes to run activities.  She also visits others in the local community and in hospital.
