In the last three days we have given Christmas presents to 645 disadvantaged children across Coventry. Each present was donated, sorted, wrapped, bagged, carried and distributed by amazing people. Others helped at distribution parties where children were able to engage in craft activities and visit Santa. Each child also got a selection box donated by local uniform groups and the company, Arconic.

If you were involved in any part of that chain, thank you. We have had so many lovely comments and cards expressing what the project means to parents, carers and their children. Our biggest thanks goes to God for all He does through you fantastic folk. THANK YOU!
Kitchen Garden Project
A fantastic team of volunteers from Streams of Life church gave up their Saturday to start transforming an overgrown piece of land at the Mission into our Community Kitchen garden (see pics)

They had great fun with chainsaws, loppers and much more and I hope you agree the transformation is brilliant

There is more to do and we plan on other volunteers' days. If you are interested in knowing more please be in touch.

The Great Kitchen Refurbishment Appeal 2017
☆☆ Kitchen appeal update☆☆

We are thrilled to report that we have reached our target of £10,000 towards the refurbishment of our kitchen. A massive thanks to all who have donated.

If you were still considering making a donation to this project, we would like to replace a lot of the tables in the cafe and also a new carpet/flooring would look great.

The work is expected to be undertaken over the Christmas break in order to cause as little disruption as possible.

Following the amazing success of our pay-what-you-can café this year, our kitchen is in desperate need of a refit.

We are looking for 25 people who may help us do it.

We need:
9 people who could pledge £100.
7 people who could pledge £200.
5 people who could pledge £500.
3 people who could pledge £750.
1 person who could pledge £1000.

With GiftAid this would give us about £10,000 to build a kitchen fit to serve the people the Mission blesses.

Could you be one of the 25 or do you know someone who might be able to help?
