On Monday 9th April we put out a post that said that ‘in faith’ we had started the enormous task of replacing the Mission's roof at the cost of £100,000.

The ‘in faith’ aspect meant we were starting the job with virtually no funds in the bank.

On Tuesday 10th April we received a substantial legacy which means the work can move forward with confidence.

God is awesome and His timing is perfect! Sometimes God wants us to take the first step!

The Trustees of CCM have stepped ahead in faith and have decided to repair two flat roofs.

From the pictures you can see that it was actually raining in a store cupboard.

The next task will be the ladies toilet (photos coming soon) as soon there will be an off the grid shower facility as well.

Thank you to DK Roofing for fitting us in to complete the work.

Kitchen Garden Project
A fantastic team of volunteers from Streams of Life church gave up their Saturday to start transforming an overgrown piece of land at the Mission into our Community Kitchen garden (see pics)

They had great fun with chainsaws, loppers and much more and I hope you agree the transformation is brilliant

There is more to do and we plan on other volunteers' days. If you are interested in knowing more please be in touch.
